I moved to Shanghai to escape Australia's crazy cost of living ... 😂
But before the comments start..
Relax...
I'm only here for a 2 months business trip (as I don't just invest in property or shares - I also have side business ventures with other biz partners)
And most importantly..
My Mortgage Biz is still BIZ as usual - Staff and office still in Australia .. haha..
but... living here has definitely made me look at Australia differently. As a mortgage broker, I spend every day talking to families feeling the squeeze. Experiencing another country has made me question whether we've simply accepted that life has to be this expensive.
Here's one of the reasons I decided to spend some time outside Australia..
