🖤We respectfully express our deepest condolences and remembrance of Her Royal Highness’s dedication, compassion, and invaluable service to the Kingdom of Thailand and its people.🖤🕊️

🇹🇭🇳🇿 BOI Sydney in Wellington, New Zealand | 10–13 May 2026
BOI Sydney was pleased to visit Wellington, New Zealand, to engage with government agencies, business leaders, investors, and industry stakeholders in strengthening Thailand–New Zealand business and investment cooperation.
📍 On 11 May 2026, BOI Sydney hosted the “Thailand Market Update (Hybrid: Wellington and Online)” in partnership with the ASEAN New Zealand Business Council (ANZBC).
The event brought together representatives from government agencies, leading New Zealand companies, investors, and industry stakeholders to discuss Thailand’s investment landscape, priority sectors, investment incentives, and opportunities for business expansion into Thailand and Southeast Asia.
The session also featured insights from government and industry representatives, followed by networking discussions with participating businesses.
📍 On 12 May 2026, BOI Sydney attended the official reception and commemorative logo launch hosted by the Royal Thai Embassy in Wellington on the occasion of the 70th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between Thailand and New Zealand.
During the visit, BOI Sydney also met with leading New Zealand companies to discuss potential investment opportunities and business expansion into Thailand.
BOI Sydney remains committed to supporting Australian and New Zealand businesses exploring growth opportunities in Thailand.

🔗 Thailand’s BOI has approved six major investment projects worth over THB 958 billion, including three large-scale data center projects, reinforcing Thailand’s position as a leading digital and AI infrastructure hub in the region.
The BOI Board also expanded the Thailand FastPass initiative to accelerate strategic investment projects and discussed measures to support clean energy investment and electricity readiness.

Thailand Draws Over 1 Trillion Baht in Q1 Investment, Led by Digital and AI
The Thailand Board of Investment (BOI) announced first-quarter 2026 investment applications exceeding 1.01 trillion Baht (31.8 billion USD) across more than 600 projects, led by the Digital and Electronics sectors riding the AI wave, followed by Clean Energy, Agriculture & Food Processing, Logistics, and Automotive.
Singapore, the United Kingdom, and Japan recorded the highest investment values, reaffirming Thailand's role as a destination for the industries of the future.
