This NAIDOC Week, Alpha Omega proudly celebrates the history, cultures, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

NAIDOC Week is an opportunity for all Australians to learn about and honour the world's oldest continuing cultures, while recognising the strength, resilience, and valuable contributions of First Nations peoples to our communities.

As a multicultural care provider, we are committed to creating an inclusive environment where people from all backgrounds are respected, valued, and supported. We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live and work and pay our respects to Elders past and present. We also extend our respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in our communities.

Together, let's celebrate culture, deepen our understanding, and continue building communities where everyone feels welcome and connected.

🌸🏮 **A Beautiful Day at the Chinese Garden!** 🏮🌸

On **25 March 2026**, our Alpha Omega clients enjoyed a wonderful day exploring the beautiful Chinese Garden. Surrounded by peaceful landscapes, colourful flowers, tranquil ponds, and traditional Chinese architecture, everyone had the opportunity to relax, take in the stunning scenery, and create lasting memories together.

The day became even more special as our clients gathered to enjoy a delicious Chinese banquet for lunch, sharing great food, laughter, and meaningful conversations.

At Alpha Omega, we believe that every outing is an opportunity to build friendships, stay connected, and experience the joy of community. Seeing our clients smile, connect with one another, and enjoy new experiences is what makes these moments so rewarding.

Our monthly social outings bring clients together to celebrate birthdays, cultural festivals and special events with delicious food, arts and crafts, educational talks and plenty of laughter.

We're excited to share some special memories from our clients' visit to the Fish Market in April 2026! 😊

From exploring the incredible selection of fresh fish and seafood to enjoying the lively waterfront atmosphere, it was a day filled with laughter, great conversations, and happy moments. The fresh sea breeze and vibrant surroundings made the outing even more enjoyable.

Our clients enjoyed a wonderful day celebrating with delicious food, festive activities and great company. Events like these are a special way to honour cultural traditions, strengthen friendships and create lasting memories.

❄️ Join Our Day Program Winter Adventures! ❄️

Our Day Program participants have enjoyed a wonderful winter season filled with fun, friendship and community adventures!

Over the past month, participants enjoyed exciting outings including a relaxing Rowboats Adventure at Lane Cove, a fun day at Sydney Olympic Park Archery Centre, the magical Harry Potter™ Exhibition, and our Fruit Picking May Excursion in the beautiful Blue Mountains.

These activities gave participants the chance to stay active, try new experiences, build confidence, socialise with friends and enjoy meaningful community participation.

A heartfelt thank you to our participants and their families for your ongoing support and for entrusting us with the opportunity to create safe, enjoyable and memorable experiences.

We also thank our wonderful support workers for their dedication, care and genuine concern for every participant.

Our July School Holiday Program 2026 is now open for registrations, running from 6th July to 18th July. We are also excited for our July monthly excursion to Winterfest Medieval Festival on Saturday 4th July!

Please be advised that the Alpha Omega office will be closed for the Anzac Day public holidays on Saturday, 25 April, 2026, and Monday, 27 April, 2026. We will reopen on Tuesday, 28 April, 2026.
