Jennie Charlton is a highly experienced social worker dedicated to ending sexual violence through trauma-informed, relational practice that balances safety and accountability. With over two decades of experience across the UK and Australia in areas like mental health, child protection, and crisis response, she currently holds multiple leadership and practice roles, including Director of JC Assessments and Training and Senior Social Worker within forensic mental health services. Jennie’s work focuses on supporting victim survivors with dignity and control, while also promoting accountability and behavioural change for those who cause harm. She strongly advocates for collaboration across health, justice, and community sectors, believing that meaningful prevention requires systemic change, compassionate practice, and a commitment to social justice.
