Disability Pride and Protect our NDIS Alliance are organising a National Day of Action to protest to stop NDIS cuts across the country for Saturday 9 May 2026.
From Gadigal to Magan-djin/Meanjin to Naarm to Boorloo us disabled people and our comrades are joining together across the country on Saturday 9 May 2026 for a National Day of Action to protest to stop the NDIS cuts! Will you join us?

- Stop the cuts, don't put a price on our rights
- Don't kick people off the NDIS, expand safeguards
- Tax the gas corporations and billionaires
- Expand disability services, human rights belong to all

Why join the protest?
I, Mr Rev Comrade Rowley states from CLACCA ULC, "When Capitalism cuts healthcare for profit, people die. If you think the Government will take care of people with disabilities health care needs without NDIS. The Government didn't take care of my Q***r disabled former child migrant birth mother Susan Virginia Kershaw (Rowley). She recently died and the South Australian Government Public Trustee denied her the legal right to a funeral! My family has had to protest for the legal right to organise our birth mother's Queensland funeral according to her wishes. The South Australian Government Public Trustee declared her intestacy and denied her a legal will because she didn't have any money when she died. The Public Trustee didn't tell us she died for two months. Didn't tell us they cremated her. They tried to hold my dead Q***r disabled birth mother's ashes for ransom to pressure our family to sign indemnity agreements. I refused to sign indemnity agreements because I will not withdraw my survivor justice redress case as my birth mother told me to never be silent about injustice. CLACCA ULC has to organise a fighting fundraiser to cover Queensland Cemetery costs of my birth mother's funeral because Queensland Cemeteries won't let my mother have a funeral according to her wishes unless we pay for the cemetery costs up front. We have to protest to stop these NDIS cuts because disability healthcare is not bulked for disabled people under medicare. Join us disabled people in protesting to stop these NDIS cuts killing disabled people."
