hey hurlstone!! here is the (very late) wrap up post for this yr's World's Greatest Shave - thank you to everyone who made this event possible and we hope you all had fun 🥳🎉🎉

Over the course of winter, we ran our new 'Crochet For Change' initiative, crocheting granny squares to donate to Wrapped With Love so they could be made into warm blankets ⛄️

And we wanna thank everyone who got involved and helped us make this initiative possible 💕

WORLD'S GREATEST SHAVE IS MAKING A COMEBACK!!!

Shaving/cutting will be done LIVE in the HALL 🤩 (for the first time since covid became a thing) so come down to support your peers. There'll be hairspray, food, games and more! Who's hyped 🙌🙌

In case you didn't know, this week is National Homelessness Week - an annual campaign to raise awareness about the growing crisis of homelessness (especially since the recent floods 🌊 have worsened the issue).

🎉 Hey Hurlstone!! 🎉 Exciting news‼️The Extracurricular Fair 2022 is coming up soon, and here is a little information for those of you who haven't yet heard!

❤️ When: 31st May, Tuesday Week 6, LUNCH
🧡 Where: Cola (near the hall)
💛 Who: ALL HAHS extracurricular groups will be participating in this event, including INTERACT!
💚 What: The Fair is aimed towards Years 7-9, and is an opportunity for groups to publicise their activities to students outside of its members. Its goal is to get more students encouraged to join extracurricular groups that they are interested in!
💙 INTERACT's stall: cup pong!! where each throw will either be rewarded with a bit of trivia, a quick question or a mini prize! So make sure to attend on the day, and enjoy what Hurlstone has to offer!!

BMT has come to an end and we have raised a total of 💛 $1422.00 💙All proceeds will go to the Cancer Council to support the organisation and its cause in promoting cancer-control policies and to help individuals in Australia! Thank you to all of our volunteers and participants!! 🎉🎉🎉

What exactly is BMT and why do we do it?

☀️ The Biggest Morning Tea is a nationwide event run by Cancer Council to help fund a cancer-free future.

YOU can support by purchasing from our stall (food, drinks, raffle tickets, glow sticks) during recess and lunch tmr @ the hall
