New Wheels. Same Caring Crew. 🚗💙

We’re pleased to introduce our new PAWA car, now proudly up and running.

Keep an eye out for our team as we travel across the community, raising awareness of PAWA’s multicultural care services and our commitment to providing culturally inclusive, compassionate support.

Our new vehicle designs are more than just a fresh look — they’re a way for us to be more visible, connected and accessible to the communities we support.

🌏💙 A proud company moment with our team today (pictured).

Keep an eye out for PAWA on the road!

“I am alive, and I do everything I want to do.” 💙

At 95, Don Lockley is still walking, fundraising and encouraging Australian men to take prostate cancer seriously. 🙂

“I think men are their own worst enemy because they’re bulletproof and they don’t want to know about their health. 😕

“Go and get tested." 👍

For the seventh year in a row, Don is taking part in The Long Run, setting himself a 100km target to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer. 💪

“This year I started early, and at the moment I’ve walked 126kms in August and at the start of September, and I’ve got $1,740 raised so far. 😃

“I believe in what PCFA is all about, so I’m just trying to do my bit.” 🙂

A huge thank you to Don for sharing his story in today’s NT News. 👏

Today is Dollar Match Day for The Long Run: www.thelongrun.org.au 😀

Telix Pharmaceuticals Limited and Tyrepower will match donations dollar for dollar, up to $75,000. 🤩

Every dollar you donate will make twice the impact. 💙💙

💛 WOMEN’S HEALTH WEEK | TO CONNECT

Connection is more than social — it can have a real impact on our health.

Staying connected with others can help protect against depression and anxiety, lower the risk of cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes, support cognitive health, promote physical activity, and improve our ability to cope with stress.

It can also support better sleep, wellbeing and overall quality of life.

As we age, our social connections can change. But making time for the people, activities and communities that matter to us can be an important part of looking after our health.

This Women’s Health Week, take a moment to think about your connections — and one small step you could take to strengthen them.

Discover more about the health benefits of staying connected as you age.

💜 It’s time to talk about dementia and Alzheimer’s.

We talk about heart health. We talk about physical health. But conversations about changes in memory, thinking and behaviour can still feel uncomfortable or get put off.

Dementia is not a normal part of ageing. Alzheimer’s disease is the most common form of dementia and can affect memory, thinking, behaviour and everyday life.

In 2026, an estimated 446,500 Australians are living with dementia, with more than 1.7 million people involved in their care.

This Dementia Action Week, 21–27 September, let’s start the conversation.

Have you noticed changes in yourself or someone you love?
Are you worried about memory or thinking?
Are you caring for someone living with dementia or Alzheimer’s?

💜 Don’t ignore the conversation. Start it.

💙 Prostate Cancer Awareness

Every day, around 79 Australian men are diagnosed with prostate cancer.

For older Australian men, the risk increases with age — making it important to know your risk and talk to your GP about whether prostate cancer testing is right for you.

A diagnosis can also affect mental wellbeing, with 72% of men experiencing mental health challenges following a prostate cancer diagnosis.

💙 Know the risks. Get checked. Stay connected.

If you or someone you love is affected by prostate cancer, don’t face it alone. Support is available across Australia.

💛 R U OK? Day

A simple question can mean so much: R U OK?

For older Australians, staying connected can make a real difference. Whether it’s a phone call, a cup of tea, a visit, or simply taking the time to listen, small moments of connection can help someone feel seen, valued and supported.

This R U OK? Day, check in with the older people in your life. Don’t just ask once — keep the conversation going. 💛

Ask. Listen. Connect. Check in.
