Music Lives On!! Surry Hills Live went off last night 🎶 💕Thanks to City Of Sydney, Surry Hills Creative Precinct, Hawkes Brewery, JJ Splice, and off course the incredibly talented Jesse L. Redwing and Kane Muir for their 2 sets of awesome blues👏👏👏

So we are terribly sad to say that in the interest of the health of our local community, we are cancelling all upcoming Music For Trees shows at both the Shakey and the Strawbs until the dust settles.
Over the last 6 months these gigs have contributed to the incomes of over 100 artists, and we want to continue to support them through this difficult time. So, the legends from Surry Hills Creative Precinct, Sydney Of Sydney, and JJ Splice have banded together to build this live-streaming platform so that the show can go on and we can continue to pay artists. Please tune in this Thursday to catch Jesse Jesse L. Redwing, Kane Muir, KTB and Frankie Artdrum tear it up as they usually do.

Surry Hills Live has evolved… into SURRY HILLS LIVE STREAMING!

In response to concern about public safety at live music venues during the pandemic, The Surry Hills Creative Precinct and Music for Trees will now take all remaining shows online for an incredible new LIVE experience - and you won’t even need to leave your couch.

Simply head to Surry Hills Live page and tune in from 7:30pm. There’ll be as much of the same line up of bands as possible, there’ll be special guests - and beer! You’ll be able to comment and interact as if we were all in the same room together.

This will be a crazy / fun new experience and we can’t wait to have you along on the ride!!
