🐾 WE NEED YOUR HELP! 🐾
Our small crisis refuge is used to supporting people…
We just didn’t expect some of those “people” to be furry, four‑legged, and absolutely terrible at paying rent. 😼
A stray cat colony has settled near our refuge, and to keep the population healthy (and stop it from doubling every time we blink), we’ve started a de‑sexing program.
So far we’ve safely caught 10 adult cats and 2 kittens — but we need help to continue.
De‑sexing, vet care, food, and transport all add up fast, and as a small refuge, every donation really counts.
💛 Your contribution will:
• Fund de‑sexing and medical care
• Help us humanely manage the colony
• Support both the humans and the surprise feline residents we’ve inherited
If you can spare a few dollars, you’ll be helping us keep our clients safe, our cats healthy, and our sanity intact. 😅

💜🌍 World Mental Health Day 2025 🌍💜
This year’s theme, “Connect with Community,” is a powerful reminder that we’re never meant to face life’s challenges alone.
At Caretakers Cottage we see every day how connection can heal, a shared meal, a safe space to talk, or simply knowing someone cares. 💬✨
Building community isn’t just about being together, it’s about belonging, listening, and lifting each other up.
