Today is Thank a First Responder Day.

We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to the incredible volunteers of Hatzolah Sydney who answer the call, day and night, 365 days a year.

Whether responding to medical emergencies, standing by at community events, or providing critical assistance during major incidents, our responders are always there when it matters most.

Their dedication, courage, professionalism, and commitment to saving lives make a profound difference to countless families across our community.

To every Hatzolah responder - thank you for your selfless service, your sacrifice, and your unwavering commitment to helping others.

We are deeply proud and humbled by our dedicated volunteer and Hatzolah Hero, Yanky Super, together with our president Rabbi Mendy Litzman OAM, who are both alumni of the RCA - The Rabbinical Council of America.

Yanky was awarded by the RCA due to the courage he displayed under fire at Bondi Beach on December 14th and his unwavering commitment to saving lives. This is reflective of all our amazing responders, and their dedication to saving lives in the community each and every day.
