SCAMMERS USE FAKE AUSTRALIA POST EMAILS

NSW Police are warning Sydneysiders that scammers are sending fake emails pretending to be from Australia Post in order to gain access to your details.

The emails claim you have a package waiting and asks you to follow a link, this then takes you to an 'interactive parcel management system' that asks for your personal and financial details.

Anyone who receives these emails is urged to delete them by NSW Police.
