In memory of Mark Grundy, a loving husband, father, brother and son, we aim to promote awareness of Oesophageal Cancer by providing a databse of resources and information, provide a support network for sufferers and their families through our website, and raise funds to support research into oesophageal cancer. Today we learned of the passing of radio host and jazz musician James Valentine, who has died from oesophageal cancer at just 64.
Like so many others, James’ life was cut far too short by this devastating disease.
Oesophageal cancer often presents with subtle symptoms that are easy to ignore — but early detection gives the greatest chance of survival. Please don’t dismiss the signs.
If something doesn’t feel right, get it checked.
