The NSW Long Term Masterplan lists the hike from "Northern Beaches to CBD" as one of the 6 worst car trips you can make in Sydney. So let's fix it with a segregated BRT down the middle of the road or a tunnel under Military Road.
Everyone agrees so don't make us wait 5 years for it!

We think the transport system connecting Sydney’s northern beaches is a joke. Military Road is choc-a-block and alternate routes are too slow. We are members of the Sydney North Regional Advisory Council (SNRAC) who represent the issues and concerns of member businesses in Sydney's Northern suburbs, including the Northern Beaches. We understand that to achieve workable transport solutions for the

How annoying is it to get from the Northern Suburbs to the City on the bus at the moment?! We need a new and faster bus route!!!
Are you one of 100,000 people who commute in and out of the city, or one of 28,000 businesses looking to attract talent from beyond the peninsula? A change needs to be made to the existing transport system to benefit ALL of us!
Here's what we want...
1. A Bus Rapid Transit system to link Dee Why to Chatswood, Ryde and the CBD.
2. A Bus Rapid Transit system to the city from Mona Vale with a dedicated peak hour median bus lane
and a new underground interchange at Neutral Bay to service buses from Sydney's North West and our
region.
3. Road upgrades for Mona Vale Road, Wakehurst Parkway and the Warringah Road intersections with
Wakehurst Parkway and Forrest Way.
