When our participants go into hospital, our support doesn’t stop at the hospital doors. 💛

At AUHES, our team takes the time to visit our participants in hospital, offering company, reassurance and emotional support. Our Registered Nurses can also connect with the hospital nurses and doctors to understand their care needs and help prepare for a smoother transition back into the community.

For some participants, visits mean more than we realise, especially when they may not have family or friends nearby to visit them.

To us, it’s not just about being a provider. It’s about showing up, being present and making sure our participants know they’re not alone. 🧡

Behind these smiles are people who give so much of themselves every day.

People who genuinely care, work with so much passion, and continuously go above and beyond for the people they support. Sometimes we get so busy that we forget to stop and appreciate just how much heart goes into the work they do.

As our Team Leader, Lina, always says, she couldn’t be prouder of the team she has. She sees every day how much they care and how they always go above and beyond for the people they support. And it really shows!

Catching up outside of work gives us a chance to laugh, share stories and simply enjoy each other’s company. Moments like these bring us closer together and remind us how special it is to have a team that genuinely cares, not only about the work they do, but about each other too 🧡

Quality support goes beyond one service provider. It takes communication, teamwork, and a shared commitment to putting participants first.

When providers work together, we can:

✅ Create more coordinated support and help reduce service gaps.
✅ Connect people with suitable services through meaningful referral pathways.

One of our participants putting in the work during his physiotherapy session! 💪

Living with Parkinson’s can make everyday movement, strength and balance more challenging, but regular physiotherapy can play an important role in maintaining mobility and independence.

Here he is working through strengthening exercises to help improve his overall strength, movement and confidence in completing everyday activities. Every session is about working towards his individual goals and helping him stay as active and independent as possible. 💙

A little kindness can leave a lasting impact🧡

In 2025, AUHES had the privilege of visiting a donation-supported facility for older people in the Philippines. It was a simple day of giving, connection and spending time with people whose stories stayed close to our hearts 🇵🇭

In December 2026, we’re going back to continue our Outreach Program and reach even more people and communities who may need a little extra support.

Sometimes, independence is found in the simplest moments. 🏡🤍

For one of our participants, home holds years of memories, familiar routines and the little things that bring him joy including the birds who visit knowing he always has something waiting for them🐦

It’s a beautiful reminder that needing support doesn’t mean giving up the life you love.

With the right support, people can continue living safely in their own homes, surrounded by the things that are familiar and meaningful to them. Because support isn’t only about what someone needs help with, it’s about protecting their choice, dignity, independence and the life they have built.

Sometimes, feeding the birds from your own window tells a much bigger story. 🤍

At AUHES, we’re grateful to be part of these everyday moments, supporting people to keep living life their way, in the place they call home. 🏡🧡
