This is NOT a stop drop and roll situation!

A Sydney resident came across this red bellied black snake in their house recently. It was slithering across their hall in the middle of the day.

We were able to have the snake safely removed and returned to a nice natural spot away from humans.

This poor mother flying fox and her baby fell into a suburban yard yesterday. The resident contacted wildlife rescues and were finally referred to us late in the afternoon by Dan at Narellan Snake Catcher.

Help Save the Wildlife and Bushlands in Campbelltown were able to assist the resident but the bats had sadly perished upon arrival.

The resident did all they could without risking personal injury but it was a sad outcome nonetheless.

Flying foxes are currently experiencing a starvation event due to a lack of natural foods in the environment after late seasonal factors limiting resources.

Do not approach bats. If they require assistance, contact your local wildlife group for advice.

This stunning Green Tree Frog was found sitting on a large rock in the dry reaches of western NSW.

GTF are one of Australia's largest frog species that have unfortunately declined in urban areas where they were once common. Habitat loss, water qulaity issues and invasive pests have contributed to this loss.

This individual was particularly pretty while it sat and waited for an insect dinner to fly by.
