Now heading the Australian Council of Trade Unions, Sally McManus says to the ABC:

"It might be illegal industrial action according to our current laws, and our current laws are wrong. I believe in the rule of law when the law is fair and the law is right."

The Young Workers Club is a place for student unionists, activists and young workers on campus who want to learn more about their rights at work and who believe in workers rights. The Young Workers Club is active in the National Union of Students and aims to assist young people to understand why university/student unionism is important. The club also acts as a place for young people to come together to talk about unionism and work related issues.
