A rental listing 12km from Bondi probably shouldn’t come with a fake beachfront view.

New NSW laws will require landlords and agents to disclose digitally altered or AI-generated images where they could mislead prospective renters, with penalties for businesses that fail to do so.

Renters should be able to trust that what they see in an ad is what they’ll actually inspect.
