Are we losing the right to protest?

The Ken Buckley Memorial Lecture honours one of the founders of NSW Council for Civil Liberties, Ken Buckley.

Buckley was an academic, activist, historian and economist who was awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia in 2000 for his advocacy of civil liberties, human rights, and social justice in Australia.

This year, the lecture will be hosted by delivered by the Hon. Anthony D’Adam MLC, a member of the NSW Upper House who has been a leading voice for the right to protest.

Sydney Young Labor x Left Campaigns Meeting! 🎉🌹

It was great to see so many of our members at our October General Meeting engaging in policy, campaign organising, and socialising.

We heard from .dadam.mlc on the history of the Left and Party democracy.📚

We also heard from Young Labor Left Assistant Secretary Jemma Hardman on the work of YLL at Australian Young Labor Conference. ✊
