better goals is a website and app that makes it easy to manage your NDIS funding, whilst staying focused on your goals. We bring together people with disability, carers and family members, support workers, service providers and coordinators of support on one easy-to-use management platform. It's designed around three core needs for people managing NDIS funding: goal planning and tracking; scheduli
ng and rostering; and budget management. Things like paying invoices, knowing when your next dance class is, or setting and tracking goals can all be done easily and in one place, with better goals. We use your NDIS plan to customise the way you use better goals, putting you in control. The platform will feature:
- Goal planning, diary notes and reviews: easily record your day and track how you're progressing towards your goals
- Appointments dashboard: keep on top of the when, where and why of all your appointments
- Rosters and service notes: set and share rosters, review and comment on service notes uploaded directly by workers
- Budget dashboard: know what funding you’ve got and exactly where it’s going
- Invoicing tool: self-manage with less hassle by processing invoices directly through better goals
- Contact dashboards: directly contact the people you need to
So why do we need better goals? The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) has been introduced to give people with disability more choice and control over their lives. It provides the funding needed to live a good life and pursue goals. But in practice it can be pretty confusing and difficult to navigate. It is especially hard to actively achieve goals and plan for the future when you’re living a busy life that has lots of different people involved in it. At the end of the day, you really have to work hard to take charge and get the most out of the system.
