💚 A heartfelt thank you to
IAQ Services 💚

Over the past few months, our food relief shelves have been getting emptier as more local families turn to us for support.

By the grace of God, the wonderful team at IAQ Services blessed ADRA Community Centre Macquarie Fields with a generous donation of food. Their kindness has helped replenish our shelves and provide nourishing meals for families in our local community. 🙏🏽

This generous contribution is more than food—it is a reminder to local families that they are seen, valued, and supported. Because of IAQ Services, parents can bring home essential groceries, children can enjoy meals, and families facing difficult seasons can experience hope and dignity.

💚 A generous gift for little hearts 💚

Today, ADRA Community Centre Macquarie Fields received an abundance of children’s care packs from Central Coast Adventist School , filled with puzzles, magnetic games, pencils and toys for families in need. 🧩🎨🧸

These thoughtful gifts will bring opportunities to play, learn and smile, while reminding families that their community cares.

💚 HEALTH & WELLNESS | MOTION IS LOTION 💚

What a wonderful Health & Wellness session today at ADRA Community Centre Macquarie Fields!

Today, Raquel introduced our Mobility Activity Group with a simple but powerful message:

“Motion is lotion to maintain our locomotion!” 🙌🏽

Our community members and staff were excited to get involved, moving together, having a laugh and enjoying the activities. It was wonderful to see everyone participating and encouraging one another. 💚

Health and wellness is about more than just one part of our lives. It’s about caring for our physical health, mental and emotional wellbeing, social connection and spiritual wellbeing.

Today’s session reminded us that even gentle movement can bring people together, encourage mobility and, most importantly, make looking after our health enjoyable.

A big thank you to Raquel for introducing the group and to our wonderful community members and staff who joined in and gave it a go! 👏🏽💚

🏡🍲 HAMPER TO HOME – Turning Ingredients into Meals

Sometimes, a few simple ingredients can be the beginning of something much more. 💚

Through our Hamper to Home initiative, we’re looking at the hampers that leave our Centre a little differently.

Our hampers contain a variety of food, something for breakfast, lunch and dinner, along with fresh fruit and vegetables and bread, and on occasion, a little sweet treat too. 🍎🥦🍞🧁

Hamper to Home is one part of that bigger hamper. From the food included, we aim to identify 2–3 ingredients that work together as the starting point for a simple meal. By adding a few everyday ingredients you may already have at home, those items can be turned into something warm, filling and enjoyable for the household. 🥕🥫🍝

Since July, we’ve been sharing simple, affordable recipe ideas showing how ingredients found in our hampers can be turned into easy meals at home.

It’s not about complicated recipes or having a cupboard full of ingredients.

✨ It’s about making the most of what we have.
🥘 Turning ingredients into a meal.
💡 Sharing simple and practical ideas.
🏡 Helping our hampers go that little bit further at home.

A special acknowledgement and thank you to Campbelltown City Council for their support in helping make Hamper to Home possible. 💚

We’d also like to acknowledge one of our wonderful community members who helps us create and trial these simple meal ideas making sure they’re not only easy and affordable, but meals that both adults and children can enjoy. 🫶

It really is a community effort, from the hamper to the kitchen and finally to the table. 🏡🍽️

We’re excited to keep building on Hamper to Home and sharing more simple meal ideas with our community.
