Our children were fully immersed in a beautiful experience deepening their knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures through dance, music, storytelling and art.

It was so special to see the children so engaged, showing such respect and curiosity as they connected with Country and learned about the world’s oldest living cultures.

The Djalgala Program is embedded within our Service program, supporting our ongoing commitment to cultural learning, inclusion and reconciliation every day.

Our mini MasterChefs enjoyed making sushi! They spread the sticky rice, added fresh vegetables and carefully used the sushi mat to roll it all up.

Through cooking experiences like this, children learn about healthy eating, different cultures, fine motor skills, following instructions and the joy of working together.

Our Recycled Art Project in the Koala Room

As part of our sustainability and reptile learning, the Koalas have been creating a life-size crocodile using recycled cardboard cartons from fruit boxes.

This hands-on project not only sparked lots of creativity and teamwork while painting, but also gave children a real visual understanding of the size of a crocodile. Amazing work Koalas!

The team from Feature Creatures brought so much knowledge and excitement as our children learnt all about reptiles, insects and amphibians.

Our little learners were so engaged — listening, asking questions, touching, feeling and getting up close for some real hands-on learning!

We discovered scaly skin, slimy skin, how snakes move, where frogs live and so much more. The curiosity and wonder on their faces said it all!

And a huge shout out to our brave educators who held the python! The children thought this was AMAZING and cheered them on!

We have been deeply saddened by the recent floods in Nepal and the devastating impact they have had on so many people and communities.
This tragedy is especially close to our hearts, as members of our teaching team have family and loved ones living in Nepal. We sincerely thank our families who have reached out and asked how they can offer their support. Your kindness means so much to our educators and our entire service community.

A heartfelt thank you to all our families for your kind messages, generous donations, love and support for the people of Nepal during this difficult time.
