Our police have enough on their plate without being asked to chase people and fill out reams of paperwork for offences involving a small amount of cannabis.
The community doesn't want police wasting time on private cannabis users when they could be focusing on bigger challenges.
We need legal change that slashes the unsafe illegal cannabis market rather than criminalising everyday Australians. Regulation and control of personal use cannabis is the common-sense answer.

Patients, growers and everyday Australians are being hung out to dry by laws that no longer match reality.
Criminalising people for managing pain, trauma or illness is not justice.
Legalise Cannabis Australia stands for reform that puts people first.

Legalising and regulating cannabis brings one of Australia’s largest cash crops into the legal economy, creating real jobs and economic opportunities instead of feeding the illicit market.
From farming and manufacturing to testing, retail and regional supply chains, regulation supports local employment, proper wages and safer workplaces while ensuring tax revenue is returned to the community.

After a big week Australians relax in different ways. Some reach for a beer. Some go for a run. Some light up a joint.
Only one of these is treated like a crime.
Responsible adults should be free to make their own choices about personal use cannabis. It is time for our laws to catch up with reality and respect adult autonomy.

When you compare roadside drug testing per 10,000 licence-holders, the differences between states are stark. This national metric helps show how aggressively each jurisdiction is policing drivers, including thousands of legal medicinal cannabis patients who are not impaired.

Australia urgently needs roadside laws based on impairment, not the presence of THC.

CANNABIS ISN’T LEGAL UNTIL IT’S ACTUALLY LEGAL
Some people think the job is done. It isn’t.
Cannabis is not fully legal in Australia. Patients are still being punished. Drivers are still losing their licences. Consumers are still criminalised. People are still being searched, fined and charged.
Adults should be trusted to buy cannabis from regulated retail outlets, just like any other legal product.
We will not stop until every Australian can access cannabis safely, affordably and without fear.

Remind them that it is not fully legal until:
• You can purchase it from a retail shop for adults without discrimination
• You can drive while medicated as long as you are unimpaired
• You can grow your own in the backyard
• You are protected from workplace and medical discrimination
Access for a few is not legalisation.
Real legalisation means fairness, freedom and human rights.

FAMILY BREAKDOWN AND CANNABIS DISCRIMINATION
Families are suffering because of unfair cannabis laws.
Medical cannabis is expensive and many people are spending thousands each year just to stay legal, only to face workplace discrimination and zero tolerance driving tests even when unimpaired.
In family courts, parents are still judged for lawful medical use and even for personal use, creating fear, pressure and conflict during already stressful times.
The result is broken families, lost licences, lost jobs and huge financial strain.
This is discrimination. It is hurting real people. It is time for fair laws that protect families, not punish them.
