NSW RFS - Frazers Cutting Rural Fire Brigade

06/09/2026

About lunchtime on Father’s Day call-outs to a fire near Paddys Flat Rd and Bruxner Rd Tabulam. Numerous brigades turned out and so as to not miss anyone I won’t name them. Thanks to all who helped. Thanks also to the locals who also lent a hand. By about 8.30pm the fires were controlled and we were able to stand down. A patrol is planned for tomorrow.

Two busy days Sunday and Monday. Sunday we attended 4 different fires and worked with Drake, Ewingar and Mummulgum. Then Monday again with Drake. Both our trucks were on the job today. Great to see the brigades working together.

Frazers Cutting called to a fire east of Tabulam where we met up with Tabulam, Mallanganee and Mummulgum. Was a large pile which just needed a clear containment line around it. Once the situation was assessed we were stood down and returned to our station.
