🚒 GET FIRE READY, TAGGERTY! 🚒

Bring the kids and the whole family for a great community day—and a conversation that could save your life.

📅 Saturday 31 October
⏰ 9am–1pm
📍 Taggerty Oval

Join Taggerty Fire Brigade at our Get Fire Ready community event, held alongside the Show and Shine Car Show and Four Seasons Taggerty Market.

Meet your local CFA volunteers, ask questions and learn practical ways to:
🔥 Understand our local bushfire risk
🏡 Prepare your home and property
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Make a fire plan for your family, including pets
📱 Find reliable warnings and know when to leave

Enjoy the cars, browse the market and take some time to prepare for what could be the worst day of your life.

A little preparation now could make all the difference when it matters most.

Tag a neighbour, bring a friend and let’s Get Fire Ready together.

What a great training we had last night.
We headed to Alexandra Fire Brigade where we were met by Captain Chris Lynch.
Chris generously gave us some time to go through their new pumper and the gear associated with it, and the Fire Medical Response equipment.
Lots of information and a chance for the Taggerty members to see what other equipment is available to the group. 🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒

Lots of Easter Fun at the Taggerty Four Seasons Market yesterday. Kids, both young and old, got to use the fire hose to put out the ‘house fire’. Special thanks to Taggerty Progress who funded the wooden house project and to the Men’s Shed Alexandra and Richard Simpson for bringing it to life. Thanks also to all the locals and visitors who donated to the CFA on the day. 🙏👨‍🚒🚒

Great turn out from the Taggerty crew today for the Thanks for the support. Every cent counts. 🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒
