Fiesta La Peel 2026 was a wonderful celebration of the many cultures and nationalities that make up the Tamworth community, and we were delighted to be part of it.

Members of the Tamworth Community Engagement Team joined the festivities, sharing fire safety and preparedness information in multiple languages, along with plenty of our popular red hats. It’s fair to say the hats were a big hit!

The event provided a great opportunity to connect with members of Tamworth’s multicultural community, promote important fire safety messages and build positive relationships in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

**TODAY IS YOUR LAST DAY**

πŸ“£ TAMWORTH REGION β€” WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU! πŸŒΎπŸ‘¨β€πŸŒΎπŸ‘
The Tamworth Next Generation Bush Fire Risk Management Plan is now on public exhibition, and we want to hear from the people who know this area best πŸ—£οΈ
πŸ“ Farmers
πŸ“ Rural landholders
πŸ“ Residents and local communities
πŸ“ Businesses and community organisations
We know our farmers, rural landholders and local communities bring a lot of knowledge, experience and resources to bush fire management. We want that local knowledge to help shape the plan, so we encourage people to review the draft plan and have their say during the public exhibition period. This is an important opportunity for the community to contribute their local insights and help ensure the final plan reflects the needs and priorities of the area.
πŸ‘‰ Review the draft plan and have your say:
https://www.rfs.nsw.gov.au/.../bush-fire.../tamworth
Working together, we can help build a plan that reflects the real risks, local knowledge and priorities of the Tamworth LGA. 🀝
