๐Ÿ’ง Warmer weather means higher water demand

As the weather warms up, water use across our network increases. During the warmer months, we can also see an increase in reports of discoloured water and water main breaks.

Increased demand can cause higher flows through the network, which can stir up naturally occurring iron and manganese within the water supply system and result in discoloured water. Find out more about how & why this occurs: https://www.gwcc.nsw.gov.au/Our-Water/Water-Supply/Discoloured-Water

If you experience discoloured water or notice a burst or leak, please let us know as soon as possible. Reporting these issues helps our team respond quickly and investigate the problem.

๐Ÿ“ž During business hours: Contact our friendly Customer Service team by phone or email or report it here - https://www.gwcc.nsw.gov.au/Our-Water/Water-Supply/Report-a-Fault

โ—After hours: For urgent water supply issues, please phone our Duty Officer.

Remember, weโ€™re here 24/7 for urgent water supply issues.

A huge congratulations to Bailey, who has recently returned from WorldSkills in Shanghai, where he represented Australia on the international stage.

After an incredible and challenging three days of competition, Bailey achieved an outstanding 4th place and was awarded a Medal of Excellence. This is an incredible achievement and a testament to the hard work, skill, and dedication he has shown throughout his WorldSkills journey.

Baileyโ€™s success is also a great example for the younger generation coming through the ranks, particularly those who may be considering fitting and machining as a future career.

Bailey is extremely grateful for the opportunity and support Goldenfields Water has provided him throughout this journey, allowing him to develop his skills and compete at such a high level.

Congratulations Bailey! We are incredibly proud of what you have achieved and the way you have represented Goldenfields Water and Australia on the world stage.
