Looking forward to a fabulous night sharing a BBQ and connecting around fire safety alongside our friends Lions Club of Toolamba Inc. before some trick-or-treating 👻 🎃

Today we took up the opportunity to participate in live fire pod training. We invited our friends at Shepparton East CFA to join us and it was great to connect and prepare for pre season ✨ 🔥 👨🏻‍🚒 🧑🏻‍🚒 🚒

We are very appreciative to have some new planting and “beautification” of our fire station.

The ground prep was excellent and we are excited to see the low shrubs, ground covers and native flowers grow and blossom in time.

Thank you so much to Toolamba Primary School Year 5 and 6 students and Greater Shepparton City Council’s One Tree Per Child initiative.

Thank you to our friends Lions Club of Toolamba Inc. for hosting us for breakfast this morning. We value and appreciate these connections and the groups supporting this wonderful community 😊

Today we had the privilege of giving Mossy his final ride from Toolamba.
It was an honour to be part of such a meaningful farewell. Rest in peace, mate — you’ll always hold a special place in our hearts. 🤍

🚨What's that sound🚨

You may have noticed that our Station Siren has been sounding a little broken lately.

Today we have had our Siren swapped out to a refurbished Grifco Model 777.

Our Station Siren is activated for the following purposes:

🚨 Alerting fire brigade members to attend emergency calls.
🚨 Alerting the community that there may be an emergency event and to stay alert or seek further information through the Vic Emergency App.
🚨 Testing.
🚨 Special or significant events.

The significance of a refurbished Grifco siren is quite special because Grifco no longer make sirens, but they made WW2 alert sirens and this new beauty of ours is possibly from the 60's or 70's.

Special thanks to Jeremy from CFA for coming and setting up our new siren to keep the Toolamba community safe. We really appreciate it. 🚨👨🏻‍🚒
