We really enjoyed sharing more about the disability sector, the different career opportunities available and the rewarding pathways a career in community services can offer.

How can people refer for Psychosocial Recovery Coaching?

Psychosocial Recovery Coaching (PRC) is an NDIS-funded support for participants with a psychosocial disability.
The Recovery Coach will work alongside the participant and support them throughout their recovery journey.

We welcome referrals from:
- Support Coordinators
- Plan Managers
- NDIS Providers
- Mental Health Services
- Hospitals
- Community Organisations
- Allied Health Professionals
- Self-Referrals.

This week is National Carers Week!

This year has the theme "Care for a carer: Making carers visible" which is aimed at raising awareness, recognising and celebrating the outstanding contribution of the millions of Australian's caring for others with approximately 1 in 9 Queenslanders identifying as carers.

From 11th - 17th October is OCD Awareness week.

This week is purposed to disband myths about obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and break the stigma surrounding this disorder. Over 200 million people worldwide are impacted by this mental illness.



This year's theme "that's OCD" aims to challenge any misconceptions and highlight personal experiences that are often misunderstood and go unrecognised.

Over this week we are encouraged to start conversations in our own community, to help show how varied OCD can be in the world.
