As part of Precinct Urban Planning’s on-going commitment to help organisations assisting the regions homeless and disadvantaged communities, it was a pleasure to donate $10,000 to Base Services “Big Move” fundraising appeal. The “Big Move” campaign is a bold three‑year plan to raise $3 million to purchase and redevelop a permanent, fit‑for‑purpose home for BASE Services.
This new facility will allow Base Services to:
✔ Bring their soup kitchen, offices, and outreach services under one roof
✔ Expand their capacity to support guests holistically
✔ Extend their operating hours with a safe, climate‑controlled daytime space
✔ Provide laundry and shower facilities to restore dignity and improve health
✔ Create meaningful volunteer opportunities that build community
✔ Reduce antisocial behaviour by supporting people into safe environments
✔ Restore on‑site access to legal, medical, and allied health services
Precinct Urban Planning very much value the enormous contribution made by Nat and Tiff and the whole Base Services Team in assisting the regions homeless. We encourage all our followers and connections to contribute to this incredibly worthy cause.
