⚠ Attention North Shore Residents ⚠

Please be advised that Rural Fire Service Queensland has scheduled a Hazard Reduction Burn for the weekend 6/7 June 26.

The burn will take place on the Eastern Side of Northshore Blvd between Synnove Drive and Stoney Creek as part of ongoing land management activities to reduce fuel load and remove noxious weeds.

The burn is planned to occur between 8:00am and 5:00pm on each day.

Residents may notice smoke in the area and are advised to take appropriate precautions to minimise smoke entering their homes.

Emergency services vehicles will be operating within the area and along the road edge throughout the day.

The speed limit is reduced to 40kph whilst emergency vehicles are present.

Where possible avoid this area and take an alternate route.
