From midnight tonight, 00:01 Thursday 1st October, it is the start of the Bush Fire Danger Period for our area and you will need a fire permit* to conduct a burn on your property.
Know the rules and don't be the fire risk to your community.
For more information on safe burning, visit: https://www.rfs.nsw.gov.au/plan-and-prepare/farm-fire-safety/safeburning
These Rules and Laws for safe burning are there to keep you and your community safe!
Help us to help you!
*Note: Permits are free and relatively easy to get but not guaranteed.
The proposed burn will need to be inspected.
Please help us to help you and plan ahead as much as possible.
Notify us of your planned burn or apply for a permit here:

Remember, as always, report all UNATTENDED fires to 000.
Please give the exact location.
Poor location information means multiple trucks, from multiple brigades may need to investigate, and it may mean we will take longer to respond to the fire.
