Championing child safety across Australia, Day for Daniel is Australia’s largest national event dedicated to child safety education and awareness. It’s a day of action that promotes safer communities and empowers children to Recognise, React, and Report when they feel unsafe.

Wear Red, Educate, and Donate is the rallying call for Day for Daniel. Each year, schools, early learning centres, businesses, and communities across the country comes together to take action, hosting child safety activities, fundraising, and spreading vital safety messages.

Australia’s Biggest Child Safety Lesson is Day for Daniel’s educational resource. Schools, early learning centres, OSHC services, and workplaces access this curriculum-aligned, evidence-informed program to deliver child safety education.

🌱♻️ Designing for a Sustainable Future! ♻️🌱

This term, our 3/4 Unit has been exploring Design Technology and Sustainable Packaging with a focus on the important principles of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle 🌍💚.

Students have investigated different types of packaging, examined the materials they are made from, and discussed the role packaging plays in our everyday lives. They have also been learning about the impact packaging can have on the environment and why making sustainable choices matters. 🌏📦

Using their creativity and problem-solving skills, students have been thinking of innovative ways to give everyday packaging a second life by transforming it into new and useful products with a purpose. ✨🔄🛠️

The Traralgon Country Network and town buses will be running from 2:30pm on Friday 18th September and will resume services as normal on Monday 5th October.

Please note, this time has been determined to take into consideration the VicRoads school speed zones.

All Country Bus Travellers will need to renew their applications for bus travel for Term 4 if required.
