Our Kindergarten students have been working SO hard on their writing this year, and just look at them go! 👏

Term 3 was all about animals - from our exciting zoo excursion to our Science unit exploring living things. 🦁🦒🐢

Along the way, our budding writers have been learning to plan their ideas and independently write 2–3 sentences to create their own recounts and information reports! 📝💪

We are so proud of the progress they’re making as they build their confidence, develop their writing skills and share what they know. Go Kindergarten!

Year 6 Survivor Day

What a gorgeous day for our Sixes to work as a team and enjoy the glorious sunshine! Students took part in fun activities designed to promote teamwork and problem-solving on North Harbour Beach. They proved themselves to be wonderfully resilient and resourceful as they managed their ‘Survivor-style’ challenges.

We are so proud of their positivity and togetherness and are confident that their transition to high school will reflect the efforts they demonstrated today. Well done, team!

🌱 STAGE 1 GARDEN GROWERS MARKET 🌱

What a wonderful morning!
Our Stage 1 Garden Growers proudly shared their learning with families, showcasing everything they’ve grown, made and created throughout their Garden Growers unit. 👩🏼‍🌾

From planting and caring for marigolds and micro herbs, creating flavoured salts, to plant themed artworks and recipe bookmarks, our students have been busy learning about gardening, sustainability, growing food and caring for our environment. 🌱🌎

The market was a huge success, but the best part was seeing our students become the experts, proudly sharing their knowledge with the people who came to visit.

A huge thank you to our families for coming along, supporting the market and taking the time to listen to our Garden Growers share their learning. 🌻 And the exciting news… our market raised money towards new gardening tools for our school garden!

🌱🏗️ MORE EXCITING SCHOOL UPGRADES!

While the oval is buzzing with building activity, our Infants area is getting a huge revamp too! Work has started on our brand-new fully equipped indoor/outdoor kitchen for our Kitchen Garden program! 🌿🥕🍅 Even cooler… we’re getting a PIZZA OVEN! 🍕
Our site foreman Max helped supervise the concrete pour today.

Our students will be able to harvest produce straight from our permaculture garden and then use it in hands-on cooking sessions - growing, cooking and enjoying food they’ve helped create.
