An old bank. A new chapter. A big vote of confidence in Ulverstone. 🏛️

For close to a century, the building at 44 Reibey Street was home to a bank. Now, one of Ulverstone’s most recognisable heritage buildings has been given a new life.
coastline has transformed the former ANZ building into its new home, carefully restoring its heritage character while creating a modern workplace for its growing team and other local businesses.

Their aptly named Renovating Our Future project is a great example of what can happen when local businesses invest not just in their own growth, but in the places around them.

What does life look like after you knock off?

Maybe it’s swapping work shoes for hiking boots. Jumping on the mountain bike. Taking the dog for a walk. Or heading into the Dial Range for a few hours before calling it a day.

On Tasmania’s Central Coast, some pretty incredible outdoor experiences are part of everyday life, not something you need to save for the weekend.

With coast, mountains, trails and townships all close by, there’s more room to make life outside work count.

Make a life with more in it. Make it Central.

What if your next career move was a lifestyle move too?

A new job doesn’t have to mean longer commutes, less time with the people you love or putting the lifestyle you want on hold.

On Tasmania’s Central Coast, opportunities across industries including health, agriculture, education, tourism, technology and the creative industries sit alongside something equally valuable: more time to actually enjoy where you live.

Think shorter commutes. Beaches, bush and mountain trails close to home. Vibrant towns like Ulverstone and Penguin. Strong communities, great local produce and space to build the kind of life you want.

Find the opportunity.
Find your community.
Find more balance.
Make the move.

Small region. Growing economy

There’s plenty happening on Tasmania’s Central Coast.

Our economy generates $1.117 billion in Gross Regional Product, with 239 jobs created in the last financial year across a diverse local economy.

Manufacturing. Health. Construction. Agriculture. Mining and fishing.

Behind those numbers are local businesses investing and growing, people building careers, new opportunities emerging and families choosing to make the Central Coast home.

And for businesses looking for somewhere to start, grow or invest, there’s an established network of industries, services and people already here to help make things happen.

Small region. Big possibilities.

Think agriculture means working on a farm? Think again. 🌱

Agriculture is one of the industries that helps drive Tasmania’s Central Coast, but the opportunities behind it stretch far beyond the paddock.

Growing and production are just the beginning. There are careers and businesses across food processing, packing, logistics and freight, machinery and maintenance, agronomy, technology, sales, administration, export and supply chains.

And you don’t have to look far to see what’s possible.

Harvest Moon began in Tasmania in 1981, growing potatoes and trading on the North-West Coast. Today, it is one of Australia’s leading fresh produce companies, supplying more than 90,000 tonnes of vegetables each year to local, national and international markets and employing around 400 people at peak season.

Its story shows what can grow from the Central Coast when the right land, climate, people, skills and ambition come together.

And when the working day is done? Short commutes, open space, fresh air, beaches, bushwalks and mountain tracks are all close to home.

Grow a career. Grow a business. Grow a life here.
