What’s that smoke? 🔥

You may have noticed some smoke today around Mount Kembla, this was from a vital hazard reduction burn undertaken by our friends from NSW RFS Illawarra Sutherland Team.
These controlled burns help to reduce the risk of a bushfire occurring and protect our local community.

Over night and early tomorrow morning you may notice a strong smell of a bushfire or notice a smoke haze throughout the area.

If you see any unattended fires call Triple Zero 000 immediately.

Community Legend located 🧑‍🚒🚒🔥

On Friday we invited Braxton to Unanderra fire station after he hand delivered his amazing letter to us.

Braxton got to meet some of the crew and shake hands with who was there. He also got a bunch of goodies as an extra Thankyou for the letter and the reminder of what it means to serve the community we live in and Love.❤️

He was more than happy to play with the truck and he quickly located the lights and sirens.

Thank you to all who liked and shared the original post to help make this happen.
