Every person with a compatible mobile device is expected to receive an alert during the AusAlert national test on Monday 27 July at 2pm.

It's important to know:
- This includes most phones, and some smartwatches and tablets
- A siren-like tone is expected to play for 10 seconds
- The alert will override Silent/Do Not Disturb settings
- Your device's screen will turn on and display a test message
- Your device may vibrate
- You don’t need to do anything - it is just a test.

If you do not want your device to sound during the alert, turn it off or switch it to aeroplane mode, as Silent and Do Not Disturb settings will be overridden.

Additional information and support resources are available on the AusAlert website (see comments for details 👇).
