World Transform World Transform is a committee of the Christian Reformed Churches of Australia (CRCA) which aims to provide Christian Development & Relief for the needy

World Transform is the official denominational ministry of the CRCA: "Showing mercy – in Christ's name". We mainly work in deed ministries in developing countries in Asia. World Transform was formerly known as WD&R: The World Development and Relief sub-committee of the Christian Reformed Churches of Australia. We believe that our living God is deeply concerned for sinful humanity. We also believe that the Church in this world is to follow Christ’s example to reach out to those who bear the image of God. We reach out by proclaiming the message of the Gospel of God’s grace for repentant sinners. We also reach out with deeds of love and compassion, as best we can to those who are poor, the victims of injustice, the sick, the suffering, the orphans and the widows. The CRCA established what is now known as ‘World Transform’ in 1965. World Transform is a GROW subcommittee with the instruction to minister – in the Name of the Lord of mercy – to the spiritual and physical needs of all those in distress, including through natural disasters, war and hostilities, irrespective of sex, race or creed. World Transform represents the whole denomination in this task.
