Enhance and sustainably manage the natural values of our coastal area for recreation and conservation into the future. The Lulworth Community Association (LCA) is made up of locals and friends from the Lulworth and Tam O' Shanter Bay area. The association keeps the community informed about local issues and community events and regularly holds meetings throughout the year. The Annual General Meeting of the association is held on the Sunday of the March long weekend and committee meeting held during the year as required. The LCA is a member of Landcare Tasmania. Through the LAP (Landcare Assistance Program) the LCA receives grants for on ground projects. We have some exciting news!
ProMED Tasmania, in partnership with Optimo Awnings, has offered to donate a new AED for Weymouth, including all costs and maintenance. We anticipate placing this AED at the river beach.

This will also come with a FREE Community First Aid/CPR Course, facilitated by ProMED, to be held in the Weymouth Hall on Sunday, July 12 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
The first aid course is available to anyone via this link: https://155863-promedtas.trainingdesk.com.au/enrol/new?cid=1719514 and it is a mix of online and face-to-face learning.
We would encourage as many of you as possible to attend this free community course. The recent medical emergency in Weymouth highlights the advantages of as many people in the community as possible being trained in CPR.

If you would like to attend this course, please go to the link above to register.
