Hoppers Crossing Apex

Christmas 2023 is fast approaching:
For many years the Hoppers Crossing Apex Club sold Christmas trees in the Wyndham area supported by the Rotary Club of Hoppers Crossing in the more recent years. Sadly, the Apex Club has gone into abeyance, but we are very pleased to announce that The Rotary Club will continue the tradition by selling freshly cut Christmas Trees from the club shed on Derrimut Road (next door to the Hoppers Crossing CFA).
Trees will be available for purchase on the following dates from 9.00 am – 5.00 pm:
 Saturday, 2nd December 2023
 Sunday, 3rd December 2023
 Saturday, 9th December 2023
 Sunday, 10th December 2023
Pricing:
 Trees: $80.00
 Stands: $60.00.
Local deliveries and post-Christmas tree recycling are also available from $10.00.

The Hoppers Crossing Apex Club is pleased to announce grant funding to assist local sporting and ‘not for profit’ groups.
Club members fundraise in various ways throughout the year with Bunnings BBQs and the club’s annual Christmas Tree Sales representing the main contributors to club income.
Amounts of between $500 and $2,500 can be applied for with Apex making a total pool of funds of up to $25,000 available.
Groups can apply by downloading an application form from the club’s Christmas Tree website
Grant submissions close at 5pm on Friday the 12th of May 2023.

Members, friends and family spent Saturday honouring Life Member of the Hoppers Crossing Apex, Michael Nash at Relay for Life.

Many thanks to everyone who helped make it a success including Athos from the Herald Sun for his interview and article on the event & Sam and the the staff Lombard Moonee Ponds for their advice with decorations.
