DRY JULY CAMPAIGN 2026
Every day, we see the reality of cancer—its impact on patients, families, and carers. Dry July is our chance to turn compassion into action. The funds we raise stay close to home, supporting projects that improve comfort, dignity, connection, and care for people during one of the hardest times of their lives. This isn’t just about giving up alcohol. It’s about giving hope, support, and better experiences.

A heartfelt thank you to one of our long-standing supporters Tzu Chi Foundation, Australia for their beautiful, high-quality handcrafted donations for our patients and staff. Items include patient bags, beanies, stoma bags, and surgical caps—made with care by foundation volunteers using premium fabrics. These thoughtful gifts bring comfort and dignity to our cancer patients and support our teams in their daily work. The items will be place in the main foyer reception, and at the clinic waiting area for the patients, carers to take home.

The Western Sydney Youth Cancer Service is hosting a FREE Caregivers Awareness Night on Monday the 4th of May 2026 as a part of Youth Cancer Awareness Month.
This supportive evening is for parents, carers, and support people of young people with cancer, and will include short talks from our MDT, psychosocial team, lived experience speakers, and community organisations. The focus is on sharing practical information, connecting with others, and supporting carers’ wellbeing as a key part of holistic, family centred AYA cancer care.
