World Mental Health Day 💚

Today, on World Mental Health Day, we're reminded that looking after our mental health is just as important as looking after our physical health.
We are committed to supporting the wellbeing of our volunteers and staff.

Through SAFECOM's Mental Health and Wellbeing team, mental health literacy programs and resources are provided to help reduce stigma, build awareness, and encourage volunteers and staff to seek help following incident response.

Take a moment today to check in with yourself, connect with others, and prioritise your wellbeing.

For information, support and resources, visit the Mental Health Month website www.mhcsa.org.au/mental-health-month/

Perfect one day, spring storms the next! ☀️➡️⛈️
Despite the sunny calm weather we’ve had across South Australia today, we are encouraging the public to prepare for heavy rainfall and gusty winds forecast for large parts of the state tomorrow and over the weekend.

Time to prepare:

🔸Secure or put away loose items around your property.

🔸 Park your cars under cover or away from trees.

🔸 Check if your area or the area you are travelling in is at risk of flooding.

🌊 For flood safety tips, visit ses.sa.gov.au/flood
