Today at Melrose we celebrated National Simultaneous Storytime (NSS) 2026.
At 12pm our whole school, joined many others to listen to the featured book: Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller by Adam Jackson and Adrian Lloyd, illustrated by Jake A. Minton. The annual event brings millions of people together across Australia to read the same book, celebrating literacy, storytelling and community. Each class did a follow up activity aligned to the text.
