Asthma or hay fever? Be prepared for today’s conditions.

A MODERATE thunderstorm asthma risk is forecast for North East Victoria today, Saturday 31 October. Higher risk is forecast in some surrounding Victorian districts, so check conditions if you’re travelling.

If you have asthma or spring hay fever:
• Stay indoors before and during thunderstorms, away from gusty winds. Close doors and windows.
• Keep your prescribed reliever handy and follow your asthma action plan.

Thunderstorm asthma can affect people with hay fever, even without a previous asthma diagnosis.

👉 Check today’s forecast and alerts on the VicEmergency app or at https://www.emergency.vic.gov.au/prepare

For severe breathing difficulties, call Triple Zero (000).
