During this National Reconciliation Week 2026, North East Water acknowledges the Registered Aboriginal Parties of Yorta Yorta and Taungurung, as well as the First Nations groups of Duduroa Dhargal, Dhudhuroa Waywurru, Jaitmathang, Jaitmathang TABOO, Bangerang, and Dalka Warra Mittung.
This year's theme — All In — is a call for all Australians to commit wholeheartedly to reconciliation every single day. Since 2018, we’ve been building relationships with First Nations communities, seeking opportunities to learn, grow and partner in meaningful ways.
This week, and every week, we remain committed to listening deeply, acting with respect and working towards a more inclusive future.

Meet our newest contractors 🐑
We’ve welcomed a flock of sheep to our solar farm that helps power the Wodonga Wastewater Treatment Plant. They’re on the job managing vegetation and keeping the panels clear.
It’s a simple, low‑impact solution that’s good for the site, reduces maintenance costs and supports our sustainability goals.
