Boo-tiful turnout, Wollombi! Thanks for filling the village with tiny witches, mini monsters and a lot of laughter. And a big shout-out to our staff for their outstanding commitment, who went above and beyond to make it such a spooktacular night. Scary good fun, as always. 🎃 Till next year peeps.

Coffee, cafe & French Antiques

New antiques have arrived at Pardon My French Antiques. The mid-century European buffet is the centrepiece, and there are large new tables, bowls and a rocking sheep :)

Drop in for coffee and cake, or have breakfast while you picture the pieces in your own home.

This Saturday, the WGS & Artisan Collective are going full spooky Dress up, bring the kids... or your inner kid, and come and spook us at the store. We promise to scream back. 🎃

Big news from up in the valley! 🎉

Our friends at Muse Restaurant_ have been named Regional Restaurant of the Year in the 2027 Good Food Awards. Well done to Troy Rhoades-Brown and the whole team!

Congrats also to EXP. restaurant ~ Two Hats and Bistro Molines ~ One Hat, for holding their ground. We’re lucky to have an outstanding dining scene in the Hunter Valley.

Congratulations to all three establishments. Go and say well done next time you’re passing through!

Keeping up the heritage paint work on the awning and facade.

The process has raised the question just how old is the main buildings roof?! It is a Lysaght Red Orb product, as you see the stamps on the back - and in short sheets similar to this early 1900’s photo.

Even the corrugated iron roof is interesting in this old building!

Dried Flower Creations is getting ready for the festive season, creating beautiful, bespoke dried flower table wreaths.

These Christmas wreaths will look amazing as part of your Christmas table decor, whether it’s the back room at WGS or a modern country home.

The decorations are starting to appear in the big chain stores, but why not normalise buying from down the road? (the local weirdos, as they say!) Something made by hand, made locally, and made with heart.

Review from the dog: pure joy!.

Pup n P***y is a Surry Hills pet boutique with one idea behind it: a city is really a collection of villages, and the pets in them make each one friendlier.

Now a selection has found its way to WGS: Beef Ribs, Beef Pizzles, Roo Puff Cubes, Chicken Crunch, Sardines and Lamb Puff. All natural. No nasties.

🐶 Dog owners, 🐱 cat owners: next time you’re in for a coffee, pick up a bag and let your best mate decide for themselves.
