New Sky - Landscape & Aerial Photography.

My 1st opportunity this year to capture the Milkyway core over the weekend, rising in the east in the early am hours. 😴😴😴
I headed up to Carrington Falls to an area I sometimes photograph when it's in full flood, and an easy, safe walk in from the carpark.
Absolutely perfect conditions to kick milkyway season off and was amazed how much detail I could get with a considerable amount of light pollution low on the eastern horizon.

Little sequence shot of one wave that exploded onto Kiama Bommie early on Sunday morning. 🤩🤩
Ocean surface was a little bumpy from the onshore winds that blew pretty hard the day/night before, but if you patient enough this place never fails to put on a show when there is a nice swell from the South East. 👌

Unfortunately constant drizzle and wind directly in my face had me cleaning my gear more then I was shooting so called it quits after 40 minutes. 🤷 👎

Sensational morning at Catherdral Rocks today, finally the grey muck has disappeared and the sunrise was absolutely amazing.
I've never seen the sky change so much in 30mins!
