Last night, we had the privilege of supporting Whitlam’s new candidate, Carol Berry, at the Whitlam Dinner hosted by Stephen Jones MP.

YLL is proud to stand behind Carol and will be backing her every step of the way in the upcoming election!

We would also say a massive thank you Stephen Jones for all the support you have provided over the years. You will be missed in the Illawarra!

UOW Labor Left has been campaigning on the streets and within the party, pushing for a ceasefire, sanctions be put on Israel and putting an end genocide taking place.

We have also been fighting for UOW to end
ALL ties with Israel. We have done this through protests, participation in the encampments and now through the WUSA
Student General Meeting.

WUSA has called a Student General Meeting (SGM) for students to vote to end UOW’s complicity in the genocide against Palestinians.

The SGM will be held on Wednesday the 7th of September @ 2:30 pm!

We hope to see every UOW student there! It’s time UOW discloses and divests ALL their military ties with Israel 🇵🇸
