We were called in to rectify multiple non-compliant fire doors that were flagged as defects — but overlooked by the previous fire contractor.

Our team supplied and installed fully compliant fire-rated doors, complete with:

🔥 Hydrant System Rectification – New Site, New Standards 🔥

We were recently engaged by a new client to investigate issues with the hydrant booster system at one of their sites — and what we found was a serious cause for concern!

1️⃣ Underground Leak from Tree Root Damage
•Trees had grown around the hydrant system and were suspected of causing an underground leak.
•We cut the concrete to expose all tree roots and locate the leak•
•Treated and removed root systems impacting the pipework.
•Repaired the leak and reinstated the area.
•Repainted all hydrants to freshen up the site and restore presentation & compliance.
•Installed new hydrant signage to meet AS2419 and BCA requirements, as no compliant signage was previously in place.

2️⃣ Incorrect Plumbing – Domestic Water on Live Side
•We discovered the domestic water supply was incorrectly connected to the live side of the hydrant booster — a major compliance breach.
•Our team conducted a full underground pipe location across the property.
•Provided our new client with detailed rectification quotes to bring the system up to standard.

💡 Garden Lighting Repair – What You Don’t See Can Still Be a Hazard!

We were called out to investigate a fault with garden lighting and uncovered a poor-quality installation. The conduit was buried just 150mm below ground—well below the required depth—and joints were simply taped, allowing water to enter and short the cabling.

To rectify the issue, we:
✔️ Removed the non-compliant conduit and burnt cables
✔️ Excavated to the correct 500mm depth, removing tree roots
✔️ Installed new heavy-duty conduit and underground warning tape
✔️ Rewired and reconnected the bollard lights
✔️ Restored the garden bed with fresh mulch

All lighting is now compliant and working safely ⚡🌿

We recently completed a job at a car wash bay where we replaced a broken power point with a new, durable weatherproof outlet. While on site, we noticed the drainage pit was running but not draining properly. To ensure everything was back in perfect working order, we unblocked the pipework, re-primed the system, and made sure it drained correctly, returning everything to normal operation.

We installed a new 15amp weatherproof PowerPoint for a customers caravan, ensuring they’re all set for a reliable and safe power connection. Ready for any adventure, rain or shine!
