Friends, it is with a heavy heart that we announce we lost the election for the Wollongong Undegraduate Students’ Association (results below).

Unfortunately, globes will not be banned on campus, but while the Round Earthers were victorious, let us not forget that over 260 people voted for us because they believe in the Flat Earth.

To that 1.7% of the voting population, do not lose heart. The revolution has only just begun!

The elections are over and to everyone who has supported our bid for genuine change on WUSA we thank you. This election was a genuine run at getting members elected that were not politically affiliated with any parties instead trying to make changes to the foundations of WUSA that needed to be fixed for years. No matter the result we have the highest hopes that change will come on WUSA in the coming year.

Thank you for your support. It means a lot to us that so many of you went out of your way to support us by posting on UOW rants and defend our candidates policies in comments sections.

We won't be posting politically from now on and we will return to the usual s**t posting and pretending we all believe the earth is flat in the coming days. For those of you that follow us for the memes, we thank you for your patience and don't worry, we will continue to give as many made up theories about flat earthism as we can creatively make up on the spot for you.
