🌡️Due to forecast extreme heat, the City of Charles Sturt will 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗰 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗼𝗼𝗱𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗱, 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟲 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟵𝗮𝗺 𝘁𝗼 𝟱𝗽𝗺 as a cool and safe place for our community.🌡️

The library will operate as a cool refuge from the heat to support those who need it. Council payment services will not be available, however library loans, free Wi‑Fi, drinking water and a comfortable indoor space to rest and shelter from the heat will be available. This space is for our community members who may not have access to a cool place during the day.

Please take care, stay hydrated and check in on friends, family and neighbours during this period of extreme weather.

Thanks for all the donations for our Christmas Hampers we distributed 131 to those in need and hope this helps make their Christmas special. Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas 🎄 and a safe and happy 🎊. We will be back on Tuesday 6th January.

Another car load of donations for our hampers, thanks to the generosity of the community at the Rosefield Uniting Church. This will help make Christmas special for those who would normally go without.

Thanks to Phil for picking up some more Xmas Hampers and pantry items from Uniting Church at Glenelg. Amazing.
